The artist Yuki Matsuo, whose specialty is the intersection of meals and design, has been hand-sewing stuffed cloth interpretations of assorted edibles, principally meats, since 2005 for her firm Yuki & Daughters. (She’s in one thing of a practice: Consider the sculptor Claes Oldenburg and his big gentle BLT.) The Whitney Museum of American Artwork has been promoting her items because it moved downtown in 2015, and now gives her cloth scorching canine. They’re about six inches lengthy and include assorted toppings. Different designs embrace kielbasa, kosher salami, a pretzel and a black-and-white cookie.
